Secret Special Note: Bad Unkl Sista will be offering retired costumes, personal clothing, make-over pieces, fabric and random props from past performances. And we are all making sure we bring really great stuff to make the weekend fun!

Expect fabulous treasures and amazing trash. Each day will be different so stop in BOTH days!   This is going to be a big and major closet and storage clearing with a wide range of everything. It all must go!

Hexayurt Building Workshop @ NIMBY Oakland

Learn how to build a Hexayurt in this hands-on workshop hosted by the East Bay Burners CORE Team and NIMBY Oakland.

Two experienced builders will guide you in the construction of a H12 Hexayurt. Using the Camp Danger Hexayurt Hinge Technique you'll learn all the ins and outs of cutting, taping and assembly. No carpentry experience needed!

Upon completion of the workshop, participants should have enough experience to build with skill and confidence a Hexayurt on their own.

Bee-Cause: A Beezus Christ Super Car Fundraiser and Silent Auction

- Come celebrate with us and help bring Beezus to the playa for Burning Man 2013 on Tuesday, July 16th!

From 8pm to 2am we'll be holding it down at F8 (1192 Folsom) to raise money in honor of our lord and savior Beezus Christ- the mobile bee art car that will bee serving honey and mead. Here's what you can expect from us:

*A silent auction with bee-themed art from some amazingly talented artists!

CALLING ALL DRONERS AND UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) OPERATORS TO THE FIRST BRC DRONE SUMMIT

Are you a Drone or UAV operator? Or are you thinking about becoming one? Are you planning to bring one (or several) to Black Rock City? Will you be using a camera mounted on a UAV to take images in BRC? Are you looking to connect with Drone operators for a playa project? Burning Man co-founders Larry Harvey and Danger Ranger join “This Is Burning Man” author Brian Doherty for an evening exploring the past, present and future of Burning Man on July 24th at Z Space Theater in San Francisco.

Burning Man started with a handful of people on Baker Beach, and over 27 years has grown to become a cultural phenomenon that attracts 60,000 participants to Black Rock City in the Nevada Desert. Now it is expanding beyond the desert to ignite a cultural, technological and artistic evolution on a global scale through the non-profit Burning Man Project.

Ticket sales are tax deductible and benefit the nonprofit Burning Man Project, dedicated to extending Burning Man culture into the world. Pricing is "pay what you can" to benefit the Project: $20, $30 or $50. Premium seating at $125 includes “This Is Burning Man” hard cover book signed by the presenters. $100 of this is tax deductible.

Z Space Theater is at 450 Florida Street in San Francisco. Doors open at
6pm and the presentation begins at 7pm. A reception and book signing will
take place immediately following the presentation.

Burning Man Project Presents....THE GREAT SCAVENGER HUNT! –Sat 7/27/13

NO SPECTATORS DAY! as officially recognized in San Francisco by Mayoral Proclamation. We kid you not!

We are celebrating the weekend before with our THIRD annual GREAT SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER HUNT on

Starting location: Hayes Green near “Futures Past” sculpture by Kate Raudenbush.

We will be there Noon to 1pm
Teams will check in and be formed starting Noon
Scavenger hunt will be given out at 12:45  or 1pm latest
End time will be 4:00pm (we will be there at 3:15)

Most activities will take place in the Central Market Area of San Francisco and there will be some rules to follow-though you know we aren't too strict. This is all about fun and teamwork! There will be points and prizes- to be announced soon! But the goal is to spend a day engaging your imaginations, meeting new people, exploring San Francisco and playing together!

Don't be shy to come on your own, as we will group you together. Or bring your theme campmates, cabaret or circus troupe! 

The basics:
Teams will be 3-6 persons max and you must stay together on your adventure. You need a electronic photo-taking device per group.
All items on list will be in San Francisco and readily found by foot
or public transit.
You will be on and off your feet for about 3-4 hours. Wear comfy shoes.
You MUST photo document your finds and email photos to be verified after to receive 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize.

Hunting season is almost open!

10/13/13 on Indiana Street starting Noon. We are scheduling
stages and placing art and camps NOW. Don’t delay!!!

Got big art? A mutant vehicle? Interactive theme camp? Performance,
crafting workshop, kids event, Performance art thingy, dance troupe, parade,
lecture? Contact us.

Or maybe you can contribute a live performance sound system, stage, lighting other infrastructure? Or maybe you have an opinion about what you'd like to see more of at Decom?

Priority given to new folks that didn’t have a spot last year. But we’ll accommodate everyone we can!
